Spiced Pumpkin and Apple Oatmeal
This recipe is satisfy any fall craving!
- 1 1/3 cups rolled oats
- 2 cups milk
- pinch of salt
- 1/2 cup pumpkin puree
- 1 large apple chopped
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 3/4 teaspoon cinnamon
- 1/4 teaspoon nutmeg
- 1 tablespoon maple syrup
- 1 teaspoon pecans chopped
Combine rolled oats and milk into saucepan. Bring to a boil. Cook for approximately 5 minutes or until it reaches desired consistency.
Chop apples into bite size pieces.
Add pumpkin puree, apples, vanilla extract and spices to oatmeal. Cook for another additional 3-5 minutes. Remove from heat and stir in maple syrup.
Garnish with pecans and cinnamon and serve immediately.
