Chia Pudding with Fresh Fruit

  • 1 cups milk
  • ¼ cup chia seeds
  • 1 tablespoons maple syrup
  • 1 teaspoons vanilla extract
  • 1/8 teaspoons salt
  • 1 cups fresh fruit of your choice
  • ¼ cup chopped nuts optional


  • Combine milk, chia seeds, maple syrup, vanilla and salt in medium bowl and whisk.
  • Let chia seed mixture rest for 15 minutes.
  • Whisk again to break apart any clumps.
  • Cover bowl and refrigerate for at least 8 hours.
  • Top with fresh fruit and chopped nuts. Serve cold.


Note: Use type of milk of your choice. I’ve made it with both whole milk and unsweetened almond milk. Both turned out successfully.
