Crunchy Quinoa Granola

Ingredients

  • 1 ½ cup oats dry
  • 1 cup quinoa dry
  • 2 Tbsp chia seeds dry
  • 2 Tbsp flaxseed ground
  • ¾ cup almonds sliced
  • ¾ cup pecans roughly crushed
  • ½ cup pepitas raw
  • ½ cup sunflower seeds raw
  • 2 tsp cinnamon ground
  • ½ cup maple syrup
  • ½ cup applesauce unsweetened
  • ¼ cup honey
  • 1 cup raisins

Instructions

  • Preheat oven to 300℉.
  • Combine all dry ingredients, except raisins, in large mixing bowl.
  • In a small bowl, mix together maple syrup, applesauce and honey. Pour liquid mixture over dry ingredient. Mix until all ingredients are evenly combined.
  • Divide mixture between two lined baking sheets and evenly distribute onto pans.
  • Bake for 30-45 minutes or until you notice the granola lightly toasted. Stir mixture every 15 minutes to avoid burning.
  • Stir in raisins while the mixture is still hot. Let granola cool for 10-15 minutes. Enjoy or store in an airtight container.
