Peanut Butter Apple Slices

  • 1 large apple
  • 3 Tablespoons natural peanut butter or other variety of nut/seed butter
  • 1 teaspoon mini chocolate chips or candy pieces


  • Slice apple into 4 slices, not counting the top and bottom ends. Remove the center core with a knife, spoon or a melon baller, which is what I use.
  • Spread peanut butter evenly onto all apple slices.
  • Sprinkle with chocolate chips, candy pieces or even sprinkles.


If you have difficulties spreading the peanut butter, try using a paper towel and dab the apple slices to remove any extra moisture. This helps the peanut butter stick to the apple.
