Okay, I know I’m supposed to be the adult here… but who knew slime could be so much fun!!! We made Shamrock Slime this weekend to celebrate the upcoming St. Patrick’s Day and it brought hours of fun! We made it together, and played… and played… and played with it. No, not just the kids… parents too! 🙂
The kids loved how easy it was. After we made the first batch, Lily was begging to make another. Check out how quickly Lily mixed up this slime recipe:
OK, let’s start creating. Here’s a list of supplies you’ll need:

- Mixing bowl
- Spoon or spatula
- Ziplock bag or airtight container for storage
Green Slime Recipe
Ingredients:
1 bottles washable school glue (8oz)
1/3 cup liquid starch
Directions:
- Dump glue into a mixing bowl and add ¼ cup of the liquid starch. Continue adding more liquid starch until it is no longer sticky. We used approximately 1/3 cup total.
- Mix in your glitter.
- Let is rest for 2 minutes. This helps reduce some of the stickiness.
- Let the hours of fun begin!
Tip: We used regular liquid white glue, however for a more slime-like experience, use clear glue.
